At Acorn Play, we believe in the power of outdoor learning. Our Forest School approach and programs for little ones and their families aim to instill a sense of wonder and curiosity in children, fostering a deep connection with nature that lasts a lifetime.
Expert Knowledge and Experience
Acorn Play staff are Primary School trained with over thirteen years of experience, specialising in Early Years and Infants. She has taught in London, Bangkok, and Gloucestershire and is passionate about experiential learning and outdoor adventures. Hannah has visited Reggio Emilia Schools in Italy, holds a degree in Applied Theatre and Education, and is currently training as a Level Three Forest School Leader.
The Importance of the Nature
The outdoors is important to all of us in our fast-paced rhythm of life. It can become a haven for us to move freely, have quiet reflection, take some deep breaths, and make memories. As a Mummy of two young children, being outside is just a part of our everyday lives—and we all feel so much more relaxed and grounded after a walk in the woods, which is essential for our lively family!

Term-time classes for children aged 12 months up to school age, based on the Early Years Curriulum and Forest School ethos. Home-ed children also welcome.
Acorn Play Adventure Plus +
An adventurous holiday club for children aged 5+ with opportunities to learn simple bushcraft and cook on campfires
Birthday Parties
Bespoke Forest School-inspired birthday parties in the woodland for children aged 3+. Starting at £200, inclusive
