At Acorn Play, we believe in the power of outdoor learning. Our Forest School approach and programs for little ones and their families, aim to instill a sense of wonder and curiosity in children, fostering a deep connection with nature that lasts a lifetime.

My name is Hannah and I have been a Primary School Teacher for over thirteen years, specialising in the Early Years and Infants. I have taught in London, Bangkok and Gloucestershire, and I am passionate about experiential learning, outdoor adventures and children being the leaders of their own learning with natural curiosities. I have visited Reggio Emelia Schools in Italy, have a degree in Applied Theatre and Education, and I am currently qualifying as a Level Three Forest School Leader. 

The outdoors is important to all of us in our fast-paced rhythm of life. It can become a haven for us to move freely, have quiet reflection, take some deep breaths and make memories. As a Mummy of two young children, being outside is just a part of our every day lives- and we all feel so much more relaxed and grounded after a walk in the woods, which is essential for our lively family!
